Supported Hardware

Supported ESP32-P4 and ESP32-S3 board profiles.

ForgeUI supports named board profiles—not arbitrary displays automatically. The registry includes supported display and headless targets plus experimental minimal serial profiles. Support and physical proof are scoped per board.

Guition revision boundary

Guition support and physical proof currently apply only to the tested JC8012P4A1C ESP32-P4 v1.x / pre-v3 target. This page does not certify every JC8012P4A1C or later Guition/P4 revision, and it makes no Guition ESP32-C6 wireless claim.

Flash & run

The complete Hosted workflow is physically proven on the Waveshare ESP32-P4 WiFi6 Touch LCD 7B and the tested JC8012P4A1C ESP32-P4 v1.x / pre-v3 Guition target. Standalone native ESP-IDF/LVGL export remains available for local development.

Display projects can run generated UI in LVGL Simulator before hardware. See board selection and Build & Flash guidance, or open Hosted Studio.

Native developer-owned output

Standalone export produces an ordinary, self-contained ESP-IDF/LVGL project using the selected board template and validates referenced CMake source files before delivery. Device firmware requires no browser runtime, ForgeUI cloud connection, OpenAI connection, subscription check or phone-home dependency.
