Getting Started
Supported Hardware and Board Selection
Select a supported ESP32-P4 or ESP32-S3 profile; distinguish display boards, headless source targets and experimental minimal serial firmware.
Supported board profiles
| Target | Geometry | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Waveshare ESP32-S3-Touch-LCD-7B | 1024 × 600 landscape | Supported / established physical display path |
| ESP32-S3 Super Mini | Headless; no Sim canvas | Supported source target |
| ESP32-S3 DevKitC-1 N16R8 | Headless | Experimental |
| HW678 ESP32-S3 | Headless | Experimental |
| Waveshare ESP32-P4 WiFi6 Touch LCD 7B | 1024 × 600 · Landscape | Physically Proven / Supported |
| Guition JC8012P4A1C ESP32-P4 10.1-inch — tested P4 v1.x/pre-v3 | 800 × 1280 · Portrait | Physically Proven / Supported for tested revision |
Board-aware Hosted workflow
- 01Choose a supported board profile in Board Select.
- 02Design on the profile's native Canvas geometry.
- 03Generate the native LVGL 9 and ESP-IDF firmware.
- 04Start the Hosted build and allow approximately 2–4 minutes.
- 05Connect the board through the browser.
- 06Review the detected ESP32-P4 target safety check.
- 07Flash the finished firmware and verify the physical display.
Board-aware AI Heroes
You do not need to enter the background resolution manually. The selected profile supplies 1024 × 600 landscape geometry for Waveshare or 800 × 1280 portrait geometry for Guition, and AI composition follows the orientation. The result can be applied to Canvas and exported with the project.
Board-aware native export
Standalone export selects the supported board's firmware template, emits self-contained native ESP-IDF/LVGL source and validates referenced CMake source files before delivery.
