Studio Workflow

Studio Workflow

Move from AI-assisted artwork and the Canvas to preview, native export and physical hardware.

AI Playground

AI-assisted layout and artwork tools turn natural-language direction into editable ForgeUI content. AI is optional; manual design, preview, export, build and flash remain available without an API key.

Canvas and Inspector

The Canvas is device-aware and uses the selected 1024 × 600 profile. Place, resize and select components visually; use the Inspector for properties, state assets and component-specific configuration.

Preview and firmware modes

ModePurpose
Browser PreviewFast browser rendering for geometry and supported interaction checks; not firmware.
Live Studio firmwareThe Studio-managed reference workspace used by integrated Build & Flash.
Standalone exportAn independent ESP-IDF project intended for normal developer ownership and tooling.

One layout, complete semantic themes

Build the dashboard once, then apply complete ForgeUI themes across panels, charts, controls, indicators and Interactive Assets. The A4 Industrial Dashboard comparison set keeps the same structure and controls while Premium Amber, Brushed Steel, Control Room Blue, Forge Orange, Industrial Carbon, Military Plate, Nebula Core, Nordic Frost and OLED Black change the complete visual identity.

Export and deploy

  1. 01Validate the Canvas and referenced assets.
  2. 02Generate native LVGL C and converted asset sources.
  3. 03Build and flash the live Studio firmware, or export a standalone project.
  4. 04Inspect output on the reference ESP32-P4 hardware.
